DECORATING FOR THE HOLIDAYS
Lights: When hanging up your holiday lights please use plastic clips and not nails to secure your lights to the outside. Homeowners are responsible for any damage that may occur from nails.
Purchasing a Tree: Artificial tree look for the label "fire resistant." Live tree check for freshness. A fresh tree is green, needles are hard to pull from branches, trunk is sticky with resin and when you tap the tree on the ground the tree should not lose many needles. Place your tree away from fireplaces or portable heaters. Make sure your live tree bowl is filled with water daily.
Guest Parking
It has been observed that many homeowners/ renters are parking their cars out in guest parking. Two cars must be parked in your garage. If you have a parking permit for your third car - keep in mind it must be the new hang-tag parking permit. If your car receives a parking citation, you may be subject to the imposition of a fine. If you see that your neighbor is parking out in guest parking without a permit, please report the unit number and vehicle license number to Horizon Management. If you would be interested in volunteering for our parking committee, please speak with Jack or Joanne.
Please help keep your SummerWind Community CLEAN!
Please make sure that you or your guests are not tossing or leaving their fast food bags, soda, etc. in the parking area. If you see trash please pick it up to help keep our beautiful community clean. This is everyone's job to help our SummerWind Community!
