Pool Safety: Summer is here! The Pool and Jacuzzi hours are: Sunday to Thursday 7:00 am - 11:00 pm, Friday and Saturday 7:00 am - Midnight. Remember: 4 guests per unit, and the resident must be present with his/her guests.
For safety reasons, glass containers are not allowed in the pool area at any time. Broken glass and bare feet do not go well together!
Front Gate Safety: For the safety of all homeowners, please do not allow anyone you do not know to follow you in to the community. If you see a car sitting in front of the resident side of the gate, please do not open the gate for them. Always make sure the barrier arm closes behind your vehicle before you proceed through the gate to prevent someone from following you through. We all need to help to keep our community safe. -
A CLUTTERED GARAGE IS MORE THAN AN EYESORE. Ninety-four percent of home garages harbor potential fire hazards and other dangerous items, according to a national study by the Home Safety Council. What's more, disorganization and poor lighting can cause slips and falls, which account for 75 percent of garage-related injuries.
These easy steps will help you combat garage dangers:
- Install a smoke alarm, fire extinguisher and carbon monoxide detector in the garage.
- Use the maximum safe wattage in light fixtures.
- Keep floors and stairs clutter-free. Clean grease and spills right away.
-Hang large and sharp objects, such as brooms and bicycles, on a wall away from busy areas.
- Properly secure shelving units to the wall and don't overload them. Keep heavier items closest to the floor.
- Stash toys together and within children's reach, to prevent kids from exploring dangerous areas.
