Please remind your guests and family members that the speed limit within the complex is 10 M.P.H. For the safety of all SummerWind residents, please slow down and drive carefully! And please remember that the Association's rules prohibit bikes, scooters, skateboards, soccer or games in the driveways. The driveways are not intended for recreational use. Please use the park in the complex or Wilson Park on Crenshaw.
Trash day is Tuesday. Please make sure that your trash is not put out until after 6:00 pm on Monday, and please take your cans back in promptly after pick-up.
SummerWind community has a quiet time from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am. Please be considerate of your neighbors and reduce noise levels after 10:00 p.m.
The Annual Meeting and board election will be held on March 16th. You balloting materials will be mailed in by February 16th. Please return your ballot so that quorum can be established and business can be conducted. -
What's Your Number? To teach your child heir phone number, and make sure they remember it, have them recite it repeatedly to their favorite tune. The simpler the tune the better.
Red Means Danger! Teach your children that red means danger. Paint harmful bottle caps with red nail polish.
Keep Off The Glass! To avoid toddlers walking into sliding glass doors, place a piece of colored tape on the glass at eye level. This will alert him/her.
Toasters: It is possible for old toast crumbs in a toaster to conduct electricity from the heating wire to the metal casing. Remember to clean the toaster and never poke anything in the toaster while it is plugged in.
