  • A Word from Horizon
Patio Update: All front patios will be re-coated along with the stairs. While this project is being completed remember these tips (also refer to posted notices):

    • Contact Professional Services at 310.456.2071 to provide them with your name, unit number and phone number so they can reach you if there is a delay in scheduling.
    • You will need to remove all items that are on your patio. This includes plants, BBQ's, furniture, door mats and any items in this area. Should you need help in removing heavy items from your patio, contact Jack Davidson at 310.618.9478. Jack will make arrangements to have workers remove the items you are not able to remove by yourself. There is a charge of $25.00 for this service.
    • You will need to keep all items off the patio 7-10 consecutive days until the new coating has had an opportunity to cure completely. All items can be returned to your deck once you receive a notice left at your garage door indicating all the repairs are complete.
    • YOU will only be entering your unit through your GARAGE DOOR during the patio project. Please make sure you, your children and pets do not go out on to the patio. Any damage to the freshly resurfaced patio will be repaired at your expense.
    • Please make sure you follow the directions to maintain your deck.
    • DO NOT USE HARSH CLEANING PRODUCTS ON THE DECKS.
    • Homeowners may be responsible for any costs due to negligence or deliberate non-compliance.
  • Pool & Jacuzzi Reminders!
With the warm weather, and all pools to be heated soon, here are some of the pool reminders:

    • All guests MUST be accompanied by a resident at all times. Guests are limited to no more than four (4) persons per unit. Parents please ensure that your teenagers/children are not left with friends that will cause harm to the pool area.
    • No one under the age of 14 is allowed in the pool area or Jacuzzi unless accompanied by an adult.
    • No pets are allowed in the pool/Jacuzzi areas.
    • Food and drinks are allowed at poolside only if served in unbreakable containers (plastic or paper).
    • No smoking while you are in the pool or Jacuzzi area.
    • No floatation devices are allowed in the pool in excess of 36" in any direction.
    • No excessive noise, boisterous conduct, rough play or running is permitted on the pool deck or surrounding area, and will not be tolerated at any time.
    • Please refer to your rules and regulations for other pool rules.
    • Remember: if you see people hopping the fence or people who do not belong in our pools please contact the Torrance Police Department (310-328-3456) since they are trespassing. Your help is needed to keep our pool safe, clean and for use by residences only. This will also help keep your HOA fees down. We all need to take part to keep our pools safe!
    • Remember if our pool was in your own private backyard you wouldn't want people that don't belong using it – Keep YOUR SummerWind Pool SAFE and stranger free!
